HISTORY

 PATHOFLIGHTRECORDS.COM is the distribution website of PATH OF LIGHT RECORDS, LLC, originally founded in 1983 as PATH OF LIGHT RECORDS, an independent record label formed for the purpose of presenting the music of SOLAR (Source Of Life Arkestral Revelation). In 1987 the music of AZANYAH was also added to the PATH OF LIGHT RECORDS roster.  Following a period of inactivity, PATH OF LIGHT RECORDS has re-emerged as PATH OF LIGHT RECORDS, LLC, presenting PATHOFLIGHTRECORDS.COM in an effort to serve the needs of that community of independent artists whose works find impetus in spiritually and socially conscious themes, rather than in sole pursuit of commercial viability.

MISSION

PATHOFLIGHTRECORDS.COM is dedicated to facilitating digital distribution of the works of independent artists whose purposes involve the expression of spiritually conscious and socially responsible themes in the areas of music, visual art, film, spoken word and literature.

PURPOSE

It is the express desire of PATHOFLIGHTRECORDS.COM, in providing a vehicle for the digital distribution of artistic works, to:

          1. Create a viable economic resource to support and perpetuate artistic endeavor

          2. Provide a platform for the worldwide exposure of artists and their work

          3. Establish a forum for meaningful exchange, critique and information amongst artists and art patrons,
              thereby enriching the arts community.
