AMON-SHERRIFF
Musician and composer,
Amon Sherriff, has traveled throughout the United States and Mexico
performing ethnocentric music for more than 25 years. He plays many
different percussion instruments including the “kalimba”, hand drums,
vibraphone and a variety of flutes.
Amon has been the founding member of several groups including Percussion
Inc of New Orleans and Family Affair, a drum and dance performance group
formed with his wife and children while living in San Luis Obispo,
California. He is now living in Stone Mountain, Georgia exploring his
interest in the healing benefits of music and performing his solo works.
His original compositions have been recorded on the following projects:
